Welcome Back to School!

Welcome back to school! As you think about new backpacks and binders, clubs and campus sports, have you also thought about what the smartest students do?

Smart students know how to ask for help. They understand that there is no shame in saying, “I don’t know yet.” They know they won’t get everything perfect every time. They know they may even fail—gasp!—before they succeed. And they know that anything worthwhile takes work.

Here at RadAcad and Teton Tutors, we believe in excellence, not perfection. We believe in challenges. We believe in saying, “I don’t know yet”—because of course students don’t know everything yet. If everyone already knew everything, we wouldn’t need education. We also wouldn’t learn, grow, struggle, or overcome—but that is a discussion for another day.
