Radical Minds Academy is a Low-Profit Limited Liability Company (L3C) — a hybrid business structure that combines the mission-driven focus of a nonprofit with the flexibility and accountability of a for-profit business. Though we operate like a business, our .org web address reflects our commitment to mission and community over profit.

At RadAcad, profit is a form of accountability. By putting our product first, we put our mission first. It means our time, energy, and resources go directly into improving our product and serving our community. We spend with intention, operate efficiently, and make every decision through the lens of delivering the best possible experience for our customers. That same commitment extends to our team: every staff member earns a livable wage that supports a stable, future-focused, life here in Jackson, Wyoming.

Unlike nonprofits, RadAcad pays taxes and cannot accept tax-deductible donations from individuals. However, as an L3C, we can accept Program-Related Investments (PRIs) from private foundations — such as low-interest loans, recoverable grants, and expenditure responsibility grants — all used exclusively to further our charitable mission. 

We believe that lasting change comes from sustainable models that work within the system — delivering quality, paying fairly, and staying true to their mission without depending on donations.
