Science Club: Make It Go Boom!

Science Club: Make It Go Boom! is a high-energy, hands-on club where curiosity leads the way and science comes to life through exciting (and safe!) experiments. Designed to spark wonder and enthusiasm, students explore reactions, forces, pressure, and energy by building, mixing, testing, and—yes—making things go boom.

Each session focuses on a big question or challenge: What causes a reaction? How does pressure build? What makes something launch, fizz, pop, or explode? Students make predictions, observe results, and talk through what happened and why, building real scientific thinking skills along the way.

This club emphasizes experimentation, problem-solving, and teamwork in a playful, memorable way—perfect for students who love to tinker, ask “what if?”, and get a little messy.

Poetry Club

A type of living poem, Robert embodies the essence of creativity through the way he lives his life. Having studied poetry for three decades, writing has become almost as natural as breathing. He sees his practice as a means of self-discovery, a way to bridge the gap between the inner and outer realms. He believes that everyone possesses the ability to create something beautiful, thus everyone is an artist who has something genuinely unique to offer the world. Words just happen to be his gift, but to engage in any act of creation is to tap into something deep within and beyond one’s self. In a certain sense, it is opening a conversation with God.

Discover Your Magic

Writing poetry is a process through which the ordinary world becomes magic. Whether they know it or not, everyone has the ability to create something beautiful. This workshop aims to teach participants the value of simple writing techniques to unlock that ability. Observation, raw honesty, and mastery of language are invaluable tools that can be utilized in all areas of life. Each participant will leave with their own poem and new way of seeing the world.
