Robert’s Poetry Club
A type of living poem, Robert Monahan embodies the essence of creativity through the way he lives his life. Having studied poetry for three decades, writing has become almost as natural as breathing. He sees his practice as a means of self-discovery, a way to bridge the gap between the inner and outer realms. He believes that everyone possesses the ability to create something beautiful, thus everyone is an artist who has something genuinely unique to offer the world. Words just happen to be his gift, but to engage in any act of creation is to tap into something deep within and beyond one’s self. In a certain sense, it is opening a conversation with God.
Discover Your Magic
Writing poetry is a process through which the ordinary world becomes magic. Whether they know it or not, everyone has the ability to create something beautiful. This workshop aims to teach participants the value of simple writing techniques to unlock that ability. Observation, raw honesty, and mastery of language are invaluable tools that can be utilized in all areas of life. Each participant will leave with their own poem and new way of seeing the world.

Gretta
Rubix Club for Middle School
Middle schoolers kick off each week by learning to solve the Rubik’s Cube using clear, step-by-step instructions. Creative weekly challenges like a speed leaderboard, fun puzzle variations, and exciting team relay races make every class different. As students pick up the basics, the club expands into new puzzles such as the two by two cube and the dodecahedron-shaped Megaminx. Each session focuses on building problem-solving skills, encouraging creativity, and pushing the boundaries of each student’s potential.
Rubix Club for High School
Students begin by learning how to solve the classic Rubik’s Cube and gradually develop an understanding of the clever algorithms that make it possible. As students build their skills, they will dive deeper into the mathematics behind the cube’s twists and turns through engaging, accessible discussions on algebra and abstract concepts. Every session combines skill-building with creative exploration, revealing why the cube can be solved in so many fascinating ways.
