Magic: The Gathering Club

Grade Level: 7th – 10th grade boys
Schedule: Wednesday, 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM
Dates: October 15 - December 17 (excluding the week of November 25)
Cost: $450 per student
Numbers: We must have at least 3 students sign up to run the club. We will confirm your spot and send invoices only after we have reached out minimum number to run.
This progression of spellcasting fun will take your Magic game to the next level. The club calls on your wit, strategy, deck-building skills, and teamwork to emerge victorious. Great for beginners through advanced players, our Teton Tutors offering is a fun way to spark imagination, strengthen math and reasoning skills, and learn one of the most enduring games ever created.
What we do
-Learn and review core rules and gameplay fundamentals
-Build and refine powerful decks
-Draft with some of the newest and best cards from MTG history
-Play team-based scenarios on a risk-style game board to complete objectives and defeat opponents

We will learn/review the basics that make this game so versatile, fun, and strategic, learn how to build a powerful deck, assemble the perfect cards by 'drafting' with some of the newest and best cards from Magic: The Gathering history, and then take the game you know and love to a whole new level by breaking into teams and having your decks navigate a risk-style game board to complete objectives and defeat your enemies.
